Greetings CVA members! Eastern Shore Regional Poker Classic We approach February with a focus on the busy weekend of the 16th – 18th! Our inaugural Texas Holdem’ Tournament officially begins at 4:00 p.m. at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center on Friday with pre-tournament action starting at 12 noon. The tournament, which will be held in the Midway Room, will continue on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until a winner is declared. The proceeds from the tournament will go to the Friends of Recreation and Parks to provide children who would not otherwise be able to afford to play the opportunity to participate in sports. Xtreme Spirit Cheerleading The Xtreme Spirit National Cheerleading competition will also be held that weekend, with cheerleading action taking place in the Normandy Arena on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors Guide Thanks to all of our CVA members gave support in placing an ad in our Visitors Guide! It looks like we are going to have a wonderful publication Next CVA Meeting The next CVA membership meeting will be hosted by Latrice Love on Tuesday February 13th, 8:30 a.m. at the Rinnier Residential model, 101 Chelsea Ann Lane in Fruitland. To get there, heading south on Rt. 13, take a left on Cedar Lane by Wal-Mart Supercenter, right on Moonglow Dr. and a right on Chelsea Ann Lane. It will be the last house on the left. |

Wicomico
County is set to broaden the scope of Sports Marketing by attending two
hunting, fishing and outdoor expos this winter. The first is the
Chesapeake Fishing and Outdoor Expo at the Showplace Arena in Upper
Marlboro, MD. With over 100 vendors, ranging from Charter Fishing
Excursions to Convention and Visitors Bureaus, this show is one of the
largest to focus specifically on the Chesapeake Region.
