Prepare to see an abundance of softball uniforms on the Eastern Shore, as the United States Specialty Sports Association’s (USSSA) Eastern Nationals returns July 14-Aug. 1.

The three-week event will bring over 340 girls softball teams to Wicomico and Worcester Counties and the Town of Ocean City.

The success of the event is due in part to the Mid-Atlantic Amateur Sports Alliance (MAASA), a formal sports marketing partnership between Ocean City, Wicomico County and Worcester County.
