Looking for fun and educational experiences this fall? The Salisbury Zoo offers unique Halloween events and up-close experiences with some of their animal residents.
Sensory-Friendly Spooktacular Halloween
Friday, October 10 from 5-7 p.m. (Rain Date: October 11)
In partnership with Salisbury University Psychology Department, this inclusive event features sensory-friendly candy trails,
games and prizes.
Saturdays, October 18 and 25
Regular access 1-4 p.m.; early access at noon
Enjoy trick-or-treating, a costume contest, games, music and more at the Zoo’s largest event of the year.
Join the Salisbury Zoo on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12 p.m. at the Education Center to meet the Zoo’s wildlife ambassadors, including mammals, birds and reptiles. This hands-on experience is perfect for all ages and is a great way to learn about the zoo’s animal residents in an engaging and interactive setting. Registration is required
The Zoo also offers special behind-the-scenes encounters with it's animal residents on Thursdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Guided by expert educators and animal care staff, these exclusive experiences allow guests to feed treats and learn about select species. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
