'Tis the season to be festive and Wicomico County is ready to celebrate!
Frosty Family Festival - Saturday, Nov. 30
The Wicomico Civic Center will host the Frosty Family Festival on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The arena will be decked out by Delmarva Christmas Lights, and attendees can enjoy festive live music, craft vendors and Enchanted Magical Moments wandering holiday characters.
Children can enjoy the Water Boyz bounce house village, Funfull train rides, silent disco and one craft activity - all included with admission!
For an additional fee, families can take photos with Santa and enjoy pony rides. Food, drinks and adult beverages will also be available for purchase.
Holiday Lights - Saturday, Dec. 7
The City of Salisbury will host the 2nd Annual Holiday Lights celebration in Downtown Salisbury on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This festive event is free and open to the public, promising an evening of entertainment, seasonal shopping, and community spirit.
The event will feature dance performances, live music, an appearance from Santa Claus, gingerbread decorating and a tree-lighting ceremony.
Visitors can shop the event’s Holiday Market and at Downtown Salisbury businesses.
In the spirit of giving, inspired attendees may bring a new, unwrapped gift to donate to Toys for Tots, supporting children in need during the holiday season.
Salisbury Christmas Parade - Sunday, Dec. 8
The Salisbury Jaycees will present the 78th Annual Christmas Parade, with the theme Retro Christmas. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. and travel down Mt. Hermon Road, starting on Civic Avenue and ending on Ward Street.
