Pop-Up Educational Programs
Discover the wonders of the animal kingdom through free, drop-in educational programs. These engaging experiences include animal ambassador encounters, hands-on biofacts displays and interactive activities.
These programs are not scheduled. They can pop up any day, inviting visitors to enjoy spontaneous learning experiences as they explore the zoo.
Artifact Adventures
Program Dates: 6/27, 7/11, 7/25, 8/8, 8/22, 9/12 | Times: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Artifact Adventures offers the chance to engage with a variety of biofacts—from skulls and feathers to fur and bones. Through hands-on activities, interactive learning and expert guidance, participants will discover fascinating facts about the animals that inhabit our world.
Animal Tales
Program Dates: 7/21, 8/4, 8/18 | Time: 10 a.m.
Animal Tales is an exciting weekday story time adventure. Each session is centered around a different animal theme, where staff bring stories to life through fun and interactive components. Kids can also participate in songs, games, hands-on activities and exploring biofacts.
At the end of each story, guests will have the opportunity to meet an animal.
