It's festival season in Maryland's Wicomico County! Here's a lineup of the area's signature fall events.

Maryland Folk Festival – Sept. 19-21 in Downtown Salisbury
A free, large-scale three-day outdoor event, the Maryland Folk Festival celebrates the roots, richness and variety of American culture. It features about 250 of the nation’s finest traditional musicians, dancers, craftspeople and other keepers of culture in performances, workshops and demonstrations, plus children’s activities, regional and ethnic cuisines and craft brews, non-stop participatory dancing, storytelling and more.

Good Beer Festival – Oct. 17-18 at Pemberton Park
Now in its 15th year, the Good Beer Festival offers unlimited tastings of craft brews, live entertainment, games, food and peddlers of crafty and unique items.

Paws on Pemberton – Nov. 8 at Pemberton Park
We’ve partnered up with Algonquin Ultras to introduce trail running – or walking – to this dog-centric event. Sign up for a 1.5-mile untimed dog walk or challenge yourself to a timed 5K dog run. The event will also feature talent shows, costume contests and other four-legged fun.

Turkey Trek – Thanksgiving Day at Pemberton Park
Race starts at 8 a.m. Gear up for your Thanksgiving feast at the Turkey Trek 5K. Try to outrun Mr. Gobble Gobble and enjoy refreshments and holiday pie after the run. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners; first through third in six age groups; and to the best Thanksgiving costume.
