Looking for ways to fill your summer calendar? From community traditions to exciting sports and entertainment, Maryland’s Wicomico County has plenty of events to keep you busy through the summer.

Hebron Volunteer Fire Department Carnival | June 17 – July 11 (Wednesday-Saturday)
Enjoy classic carnival fun at the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department Carnival, featuring rides, games and food for all ages. The carnival is famous for its tasty oyster sandwiches and live bingo games. 

Sharptown Firemen’s Carnival | July 30 – August 22 (Monday-Saturday)
The Sharptown Firemen’s Carnival is a longtime Eastern Shore tradition featuring rides, games, nightly raffles and crowd-favorite concessions including famous oyster sandwiches.

Bordeleau Vineyards Wine Run 5K | August 1
Lace up for the Bordeleau Vineyards Wine Run 5K, a unique event that combines a scenic vineyard run with, of course, a pour of wine.

Wicomico County Fair | August 14-16
Celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Wicomico County Fair Aug. 14-16 at WinterPlace Park. Attendees can enjoy Fair favorites, including the Maryland High School Rodeo, 4-H and FFA competitions, livestock shows, petting farm, eating contests, car shows, music, food, games, vendors and fireworks on Friday, sponsored by Perdue. Exciting new additions include the return of amusement rides, music from Jimmy Charles on Friday and the Eastern Shore Undercover Dunk Tank on Sunday. Admission and parking are free.

Delmarva Shorebirds
Catch the final Delmarva Shorebirds games of the season. There’s a variety of promotions scheduled throughout the rest of the season, including Wag Your Tail Tuesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Big Beer Fridays, giveaways, post-game fireworks and more.
