Spend Sunday afternoons enjoying the perfect blend of creativity, community and the outdoors during Music & Arts at Pemberton Park.
Each Sunday from 1–4 p.m., Music & Arts at Pemberton Park event invites guests of all ages to enjoy live acoustic music, browse work from local artisans, and grab a bite to eat.
May 3 – Local Roots Kick off the series by celebrating local talent and local history. Enjoy open mic performances throughout the afternoon, and explore Pemberton Hall during its open house, featuring special programming to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
May 10 – Mother’s Day Celebrate the women in your life on Mother’s Day. This week highlights women-owned businesses in the artisan area, hands-on Mother’s Day crafts and live music from North Meets South.
May 17 – Liberty Tree Dedication The Pemberton Hall Foundation will host a Liberty Tree dedication ceremony at 2 p.m., complete with live music by Jon Pheasant, musket firings, reenactments and a presentation of the Declaration of Independence. Enjoy performances by the Dover English Country Dancers at 2:30, 3:30 and 4 p.m.
May 31 – Countdown to Summer Wrap up the month with a celebration of the season ahead. Kids can enjoy free popsicles. The Pemberton Hall Foundation will also host a tea party at 2 p.m. (advance reservations required).
