We are only a few days away from Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and local organizations are offering virtual events to honor King. You can also honor his memory by participating in a service activity in your community.

National Day of Service
If you have the day off work, you can take some time to make a difference in your community on this National Day of Service. One option that anyone can do, no matter where you live, is picking up trash for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I participated with a friend's trash pickup effort in the past, and it felt good to use the day off for something meaningful.
