Join us for our second Wicomico County Photo Walk

Vanessa Junkin - Tuesday, April 06, 2021

Calling all photographers: Wicomico County Tourism is hosting its second Wicomico County Photo Walk this May.

We held our first Photo Walk event in October 2020 at Pemberton Park, and it was fun to provide photographers with a venue to meet each other, introduce them to the beauty of Pemberton Park, and, of course, see their photos. (See some of the photos here.

The upcoming photo walk will be held in Downtown Salisbury on Saturday, May 15, from 10 a.m.-noon. Photographers of all levels of experience and camera types — from phone to digital SLR — are welcome. Interact with other photographers, explore the downtown area and have your work shared in our community.

Use the hashtags #funwicomico and #wicomicophotowalk, and we'll share photos taken at the event in a future Wicomico County Tourism blog post and on social media, with credit, of course.

The event is free to attend, but all attendees must sign up in advance and bring their own camera. To reserve your spot, please fill out this Google Form with your name and email. If your plans or health status change and you can no longer attend the event, please let Vanessa know at so that your spot can be opened up to someone else.

Because of COVID-19 considerations, the event will be limited to 25 people, and attendees will have to pass an on-site health screening before participating in the event. Please meet outside of the library in Downtown Salisbury (122 S. Division St., Salisbury) and arrive by 9:45 a.m. to undergo the health screening. Masks are required.

We have also created a Facebook event, but official RSVPs must be made via the Google form.

The rain date for this event is Sunday, May 16, from 10 a.m.-noon. Attendees will be notified via email if the rain date needs to be used.
